This homey and comfortable restaurant, located on 25 pastoral acres in rural East Aurora, was originally built as a hunting lodge in 1901. Back in the 1930's, it was converted into a tea room and has been a restaurant ever since. Some of their noted lunch items include Chicken ala King and the Old Orchard Chicken salad. Great BYOB option – Went there a short while ago on a Thursday night. The Old Orchard is truly a hidden gem in the WNY area. It is located in a beautiful country setting with an old world feel to the restaurant. The meals were simple but extremely tastey. Served in large portions as well.
