Document, document, document every interaction you have with facility staff! When my mom died, several of her possessions were stolen. We filed a police report and, after their investigation, were reimbursed by the facility for the cost of those items. She was hospitalized for four days before she died. None of my three siblings or me were notified of this until 5 days after her death when the pathologist at the morgue called us to ask when we were going to pick up her body. My husband's grandmother passed away last night at 8pm. When they went over this afternoon (less than 24 hours after her passing) to get her glasses for the funeral home - her room was packed up in bags and there was someone else already in her bed using her things and watching her tv. This is the most insensitive thing I have ever heard of! As a nursing home they need to have respect for their clients and allow families a chance to come pack up their loved ones belongings. Very poor judgement and customer service skills....... read more
This place is a clusterfuck. The way they treated my MIL in her last days is offensive. Total disregard for her and her family members. When she was very ill they left her to lie in her bed and suffer. No phone call or communication to the family regarding her status or calls to her hospice nurses. They let her there as she struggled to breathe in total distress. UN-believable! Total disregard for human life. But lots of interest in taking your money. Family members deserve better so don't take yours to this shithole of a pl... read more
Aweful place. Nurses don't come when patients press the call button. No communication. The nurses don't know patients history They never checked my mother's blood sugar level and she had to be rushed to the hospital when she got there her level was 405. Please don't leave your loved ones in their care.
