We visited The Mill at Boar’s Head for a business lunch, and the experience started off strong. The initial service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and efficient. As the meal went on, though, the service became noticeably slower and less engaged, and we ended up waiting quite a while just to pay the bill. The food itself was very good. The onion soup was very bready and had a spice like thyme or sage - which I do not prefer. The scallops were great. The apples complimented it well. Eric was a wonderful waiter. I was alone so he made me feel comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine.
So I got the aged 12 oz new york strip medium rare. It was flavorless, tough, and 48$. I was very disappointed, it was as if they did not season then strained the steak after cooked to the max. I do not reccomend
