About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. A beautiful place to unwind in our own backyard. The wine is lovely and there are spirits and soon beer!

Great wine and a beautiful property. One of the owners immediately walked over and welcomed us, brought us to a table and told us about their business and the history of the property. So 5 stars for costumer service as well. We will absolutely be back!
Wonderful visit yesterday, did another tasting at the distillery - fell in love with grog! Spent a few hours drinking wine and eating cheese fondue! Very lovely place to relax and enjoy delicious wines.
The Motief is excellent and the people are friendly and the spirits were excellent
