About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. Love them! We have been coming there for the last 10 years, and they’ve come a long way! Added a distillery, a brewery, so many amenities. And it is just beautiful, even on rare days when there is no live music, food trucks, pizza... it is still a beautiful place to relax with friends and family.
A unique experience in that Old House is a winery, distillery, and a brewery at a lovely location near Culpeper. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
This place is fantastic I don't drink alcohol was there with the wife .I really enjoyed myself the owner was giving the tasting and He was very entertaining
Great venue owners have put a lot of thought and effort into this beautiful place .
They had some nice wines, both whites and reds, along with sone really good beers from their brewerey. Of their beers, their citra IPA was my favorite but they also had two very good stouts. There was a bbq vendor that smelled really good though we had brought our own eats, va blue grass band as well. We will go back for sure and sample their distillery products next time.
We went to Old House Vineyard this past Saturday, and really enjoyed the young lady who did our tasting at the distillery. Her name was Christine, and she really made our experience worth it!
