Wonderful food and people and I've loved this place since childhood. Brian was Our waiter! It was Delicious food! Loved it. The atmosphere was wonderful! everyone talking and having a great time ….all ages and very diverse. I got a T-shirt too!
Amazing people, amazing food, amazing place. The hostess was extremely nice, knowledgeable, patient and answered all my family's questions, specially with the few restrictions on our food. She's gorgeous with gorgeous soul. We came from out of state, but this place will be the first to visit whenever we are here again.
We were so looking forward to a simple laid back experience at Old Hickory and on that they did not disappoint. The food was another matter. Ribs on the combo plate were OK, with a nice honey taste . The pork was dry and lifeless. Worse, the brisket was beef flavored shoe leather. No self respecting chef puts those pieces on someone's plate. So disappointing.
My favorite ribs! 50 years later!
Great barbecue and great people. Some of the employees have worked there for decades and are such sweethearts. The food is always good. Great selection of sides for your meal.
