Food and service were impeccable. Atmosphere made me feel like i was in Germany! Could not have had more fun! If i ever get back in the area, i will be sure to return! <3
Look, this was the my first time here, all I know is I was in food heaven! This place was recommended to me by a coworker that just raved daily about this place. I traveled from another county to visit Old Heidelberg. Please know, they made me a customer in one meal and you won't be disappointed!😋
We had the Bavarian Bratwurst with German potato salad and Sauerkraut. Geisla talked me into trying real, 7 day sauerkraut. It wasn't too bad. I also tried a few bites of my husband's potato soup. That was very tasty. We finished with Black Forest Cherry cake. Mmmmm!
Food excellent good entertainment for a Thursday evening the service was ok not great they aren't very accommodating at all to switch the Sauerkraut for red cabbage or visa versa they charge you no refills on soda the Desert portions very small
Food was good waitress was horrible never brought my side of red cabbage that went with my meal had to ask for it my husband had a filet and asked to have rice In place of potatoes she said ok never told us there would be a 2.50 charge on a 29.00 meal I would think one could get rice in place of potatoes without a charge and if that is the case she should of brought the potatoe also. then she took our beverage glasses to refill them and never brought them back had to eat our meal with nothing to drink until we asked for the ... read more
Waitress inexperienced. Forgot soup. Brought salad with no dressing. Food was barely warm. When you can't melt butter on your baked potato something is wrong. Party of 8 on 2/9/17 5:30 pm reservation. Have to say the veal was excellent.
Been 25 years since I served in Germany, brought back good memories from the great taste alone!!
