Ordered a Gravity Fed Smoker and the paint started peeling off the unit during the initial seasoning cook. I understand that paint doesn't last forever, but also believe that the paint should stand up past the first use on a cooker at the price point. I reached out to OCB with pictures supporting my claim. The company's solution was to send me a can of spray paint that they ordered from Home Depot. I’m giving 1 star for the customer service at Old Country BBQ Pits, specifically for Enrique, but also the entire team. I left multiple voicemails and never received a single call back. After initially telling me they would reimburse me for fixing a defective Brazos DLX smoker — which arrived with one leg nearly half an inch shorter — Enrique completely ghosted me.
