About this business

The main attraction at Old Chicago Pasta & Pizza is the deep-dish pie, but there's much, much more on the menu than Chicago-style pizza. The spinach and mushroom lasagne is gigantic and tasty, served with garlic bread on the side. If that doesn't fill you up, it's hard to imagine what will. Huge portions of food plus 110 different types of international beers (25 of which are on tap), is what makes this place so extremely popular with the college kids from the nearby University of Arizona campus. Pizzas come in several varie... read more

Hearty pizzas, an extensive beer selection and sports on TVs make this a casual hangout for large groups. – In Short This neighborly pizza-and-subs restaurant is a sports lovers' haven, with its plasma TVs, numerous beer signs and Chicago sports team paraphernalia. But the casual, tavern-like vibe also draws groups of professionals, families and couples who sit in overstuffed booths to enjoy steaming deep dish. As the night goes on, younger crowds mingle while enjoying a selection of over 110 beers.

Good beer, bad food – Old Chicago has an excellent beer selection. However, menu options are limited. The food is heavy, greasy, bland and over-priced. The pizza is filling, but tasteless. There are many other bars in Tucson with equally impressive beer selections and above-average food. Furthermore, Old Chicago is often crowded and noisy. Expect to wait, even on weeknights. If you're looking for good beer, good food and a sports bar atmosphere, try Frog & Firkin, Risky Business, Championship Dining or Gentle Ben's first.

Beer Selection! WOW, and even on tap! – Great food, have the antipasto salad and the calamari! The beer is wonderful too. One of the few places I know of that serves Leinenkugel! plus the wooden bar atmosphere brings back great memories of Chicago. Bring on the cubs jersey! Great after work spot, the waitstaff is very quick, and knowledgable when comes to beer selections and foor selection.

Great beer selection & tasty food – Waiter was friendly and helpful in suggesting beers to try that would please our palates. Large portions served, so I did only an appetizer (the Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls were tasty) for my main course while my husband indulged in fish and chips.

Great food and beer, what more is there! – I went there expecting nothing more than a bar with food, but to my surprise I found the best pizza in Tucson and probably one of the best beer selections ever. Over 110 beers to choose from. Wow! Gotta try the Blackened Voodoo. The service was fast and fun. Best looking waitstaff in Tucson. The Italian Nachos are to die for and if you do go get a Spinach and Artichoke Calzone, awesome. Had the best time dining ever in Tucson. Everything was great. Oh, don't forget to try there home... read more
