Great BBQ and sides....especially the sweet potato tater tots
Watch your bill. Overcharged by almost $5.00 on ours.
The best pulled pork sandwich I've had in a long time! Mixed the chipotle spicy sauce with the Kansas City sauce. Yummy
As a vegetarian, BBQ joints are usually a big let down. Not here, though. The veggie burger is great, the salad is great, and the veggie platter is unexpected and fantastic, with baba ganoush and pita. There's also lots of veggie sides like mac and cheese and sweet potato tots. They also have different flavors of BBQ sauce made in house. That is neat. Well done!
All of the sides we had were great as well as the house made sauces. The pulled pork was very good but the brisket was really loose.. more like a pot roast than a bbq brisket to me.. smoke flavor was a bit lacking as well. The same goes for the smoked wings.. they were pretty dry and crunchy.. like they had been overcooked in the smoker and then deep fried.. smoke flavor was a bit muted as well. So glad we stopped in, enjoyed a truly awesome meal! It is not easy to find "real" bbq (where the meat has been smoked for hours) in the Midwest, will definitely be back again - the brisket and pulled pork we decided on were both amazing! Loved that the menu had a wide variety of meats AND side dishes to choose from, all of the sides we tried were absolutely delicious, especially the home made pickles.
