Absinthe si très bien passé et bon hours. Le Sazerac à très bien. I had an Absinthe and a Sazerac to drink both are for sipping over time. Good place to visit.
Great place to catch the Green Fairy. Many brands of Absinthe from many countries to chose from.
I've been to this place many times and the last was Thursday September 15th. I was there with my husband and we experienced two of the most unpleasant bartenders. One acted like she didn't hear us when we asked her a question but both did not even say a word, didn't crack a smile and looked like they would rather be elsewhere. It was actually uncomfortable and we didn't feel welcomed. Not gonna go back in there.
I went in for a Ramos Fizz and stayed because the place was so cool and so much fun and the best Ramos Fizz I've ever had in New Orleans.
I try to go to Old Absinthe House each time I am I'm NOLA! Always get a Sazerac. This time it was served in a glass glass instead of a plastic cup. Made it even better!
I've loved this bar for a long time, but today was extra special. The same great bar service, the same awesome customer base to make friends with, but today I got a new hiccup cure...lemon with bitters poured over it. I was pretty sure I was gonna vomit for a second, but it passed and the hiccups are gone. Thank you Diana. ��
