Excellent mint Julip. The bartender was a very pleasant young lady. Will be stopping by on my next visit to Nola
laid back, excellent beverages
Loved this bar. Very unique, has a laid back vibe vs what the rest of Bourbon St typically is. Drink menu is different and worth trying. Bartenders were great!
So cool! Best bloody Mary’s ever, great service, relaxed environment. One of my favorite places in Nola now!!! Love me a good dive bar!
We are so pleased with our experience . The bartender took her time and , was extremely friendly . We will be visiting again for sure .. what a cool place .
Always an inviting place to grab a drink, especially when it’s hot and humid in the Quarter.
If you are looking for a hip New Orleans bar with a dirty, hole in the wall look and feel, this bar is a must. Granted, this describes most of the bars in NOLA but The Old Absinthe House corners the market in this field. The bartender was a pleasure to speak to (especially when the topic turned to vibraters!) The drinks can be a little pricey but the experience is worth the $18 absinthe drink and its one more thing off the bucket list.
Old Absinthe House has a 4.4 star rating with 1,076 reviews.
Old Absinthe House is open now. It will close tomorrow at 4:00 a.m.
