The set is so simple and yet so beautiful. The staff take very special care to make your dish well balanced in both texture and taste. This is one of my all time favorites.

Traditional Japanese bento meals. Awesome ramen. The menu/name changes based on time/day (bentos at lunch, ramen in evenings, tasting menu only weekends).
Absolutely incredible Japanese breakfast. The poached egg is a must.
everything's sushi in nyc. people who grew up with the real real variety of authentic Japanese food will appreciate this place
traditional Japanese breakfast — fish option of the day, two veg, egg, multigrain rice, miso soup + optional onsen tamago. incredible food, lovely staff, and nice space. small portions, but worth it.
Long wait but great food! Had the donburi with lightly marinated fish 🐟, slightly sweetened soy-y brown rice and refreshing shiso.
With only 12 seats, this spot fills up fast. Grab a coffee at the barber shop-slash-café next door while you wait, or, weekends, check to see if local tea importer Kettl is doing a pop-up upstairs.
