This is a great example of why people say the mental health industry needs to change. I was/am in need of mental help, I have great insurance and income through my employer and a very open schedule. I called yesterday morning around 9am to get new patient info. The woman on the phone said before she can book an appointment she needed my insurance information to verify coverage. She was polite. I gave it to her and she told me she would call me back later that day to get my appointment booked if everything checked out. Never ... read more
