If your having a heart stent placement I would make sure to ask questions and follow up for answers. I recently had a stent surgery there. After waiting for hours strapped to a surgery table Dr. M..Ahmed finally showed up. He never made eye contact with me. Had he taken the time he would have found I was not given anything to relax me or been giving sedation. Now I'm looking for a new cardiologist and new hospital being that the hospital is Dr owned. I have loved Mercy Hospital for years. Now not so much.
Had surgery and the best care one could want. Staff was professional and caring..thanks for the great care!
The staff and nurses along with my Dr have been phenomenal. Other people posting about going to the er for other problems and then complain make me laugh. This is a HEART hospital. The drs are cardiologists. If you don't know what the definition is look it up.They treat heart and coronary related circulation issues.
I took my father here this morning around 1am. He was previously seen here the week before for the same problem. It has gotten worse so we went back. The doctor came in, totally disrespectful. Disregarded my dad’s symptoms. Said he could not do anything in the middle of the night and needs to be follow up with PCP on Monday. If I could give no stars I would. This is absolutely ridiculous. His legs and stomach are severely swollen and in an immense amount of pain. Needless to say, I will never be coming back to this hospital ... read more
My partner just passed. I want to say thank u for the nurse who put a do no it deserve sign on our door cause we finally got to sleep it was very hard few days and she knew I NEEDED IT SO BAD he finally passed and I don’t remember her name just the compassion. They don’t only take care of patient they take care of their Lund ones to. Thank u and each and everyone of you are in my Prayers
