Best Steak Around! I am really proud to start the White Plate Special blog with my first experience at the Okeechobee Steakhouse in WPB, Fl. Alright. In an area of Palm Beach where Excellent steak restaurants are abounding, you will find "Okeechobee Steak House". I must admit, it was just okay. The steaks were tasty. The salmon was okay. I was not impressed with their salad bar, and the setting is very dark and uninviting. The wait time was long even with reservation , the drinks rather on the small side for the price and the staff was not that attentive. For the price you pay, I truly feel you may want to enjoy another of the many steak houses in the area!

Got to go here for your Birthday Still a place where you can get a complementary entree on your birthday. Everything I have eaten here was always fantastic. A little on the pricey side but the portions are good sized. Service was friendly.

Excellent Steak The best steak I have tasted at a world class restaurant. Five star service. Tons of delicious food. The staff is super friendly and caters to every one of your needs.

food is way over priced, I've had better for less. $10 for an order of onion rings please, $60 for a 16 oz steak, I've paid $40 for better. hardly ever can you get a table by just walking in, you have to book 2 days in advance if you have more than 2 people, some may like that but I like to eat when I'm hungry

my family and I love this place! The steaks are terrific and the servers are very professional. It's not very "pretty" but it is a traditional steakhouse and the food is always consistent. We celebrate every birthday here and have a great time.

If there were a negative star rating, i would give it a negative 5. I took my mother and wife for lunch and we both were sickened by the Beef Stew. I have eaten in many places world wide and Okeechobee steakhouse was the first to give me the SHI_ _! When I called to warn them to take the stew off the menu their response was "I had the stew and I am fine." My poor mother and I were sick all afternoon. Stay away from this place living on the glory days.

Disapointing Steakhouse – The service at this antiquated steakhouse was enjoyable during my recent dining experience, however with the food was disappointing. I ordered a king-cut prime rib and my piece was refrigerator cold throughout when I received it. I ordered a Porterhouse as a replacement for it was cooked unevenly and found its taste to be off-putting due to the hot skillet and oil placed on it. There are better places to dine at out for the money! I won't return!
