Shop is more or less a one person operation run by an elderly man. This is important because you will be at the mercy of his mood or attitude towards you. I went in for a simple safety check, but happened to catch him on a bad day. He hit my hood with a car manual to get my attention to move the car into a different position, and when I told him he didn't have to hit the car, he told me to get the "eff" out of there.
