So. If you hire Scott Goode, he probably won't get back to you right away cause he's too busy. Which seems good at first, right? Busy means he is helping people. But, then....Zero follow up, zero action, $3,000 retainer and....nothing. no phone calls to the DA, nothing proactive, lack of timely follow-up. For over 10 years, I battled with visitation denials, OK CPS investigations with the custodial parent, my X taking the children to 3 different states and 4 previous lawyers. I would NOT recommend using Scott to anyone going through a nasty divorce. The communication is 1/10 and you have to threaten firing him before you even get a call back. Meanwhile, there’s emergencies going on that need immediate resolution. He throws every excuse he can at you as to why he hasn’t called. At the very least, a quick email would suffice.
