We were visiting from Virginia and walked in to look at frames and to purchase, as I saw some great looking frames in the window. The staff was uptight and not friendly; they treated us like their establishment was not a place for us. When we asked to see one particular set of frames, they told us they were "725," and then corrected themselves to make sure we knew they were "seven HUNDRED and twenty-five dollars." We’ll be taking our business elsewhere. We were made to feel inferior from the moment we walked in. We don’t dress up on vacations, and I certainly don’t wear business attire when I visit eyeglass stores. I save those outfits for my appearances on CNN and CBS Sunday Morning. You screwed this one up, guys. Don’t judge money by the way a person looks. It’s like judging queer as asshole.
Wonderful boutique filled with stylish prescription glasses, sunglasses and readers. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly. Adam was so kind helping me choose the perfect frame for my face shape and coloring. Chris gave me some great information on care and cleaning of my new sunglasses. It was a great experience and will spread the word among my friends in Santa Fe.
I am on vacation in Santa fe from Texas and I forgot to bring a pair of sunglasses so I googled and a sunglass shop and these guys were the closest I went in looking for a pair of ray ban sunglasses and was told they don’t sell them there but that they had vuarnet, so I was referred to the vuarnet rep, I had never ever heard of this brand so I decided to check it out the vuarnet rep showed me several models and I fell in love with one model I asked her for a price and she said $355 I told her I was looking for something in $... read more

Was in town from Dallas yesterday and had heard very positive things about Ojo Optique Santa Fe. I needed a new pair of glasses and the folks in the shop were phenomenal in all aspects: attentive, conscientious, knowledgeable, and most importantly they were genuinely friendly. I picked out a pair of glasses from a French company I had never heard of that the folks there encouraged me to try on, I appreciate their friendliness and chill vibe/approach with zero pretension and no indication whatsoever of trying to push sales.
