So many patients waiting we were spilling out into the hallway. Two hours after the appointment time, my turn. Gave me all of about five minutes tops. Enough time to make me cry. Rude, uncaring, and way too busy to be bothered with his patients problems. Just started seeing him because I move to the city. I will be trying to find another Gastro. I have to see him one more time unfortunately. My advice, avoid him at all costs. Your health may depend on it.
I was admitted at Del Sol and he was asked to do a colonoscopy to insure I'm fine. When I met him he was very rude and was unwilling to answer questions. He then performed the procedure but didn't leave any advisement of what to do next. Was very unfriendly and does not come recommended. What disappointed me was his lack of consideration, doesn't listen or explain what he's doing and why, which also caused me to not trust him.
Scheduling and appointment was very fast the gentleman that scheduled it was able to get me in the following day, only think I didn't like was the lady in the front (Karen i believe her name was)never told me about my copay till I was about to go in, she said her manager wasn't available to talk about making payments to the copay. When I got in to see Dr ojo he literally took bout 5 minutes with me,the nurse came in to explain what a colonoscopy was which I was still confused. Not going back!!
I have never experienced such poor patient care in my life. The first visit with him I didn't know he was the doctor and next think I know I was scheduled for surgery. This doctor does not explain anything you. The day of surgery my appoint was at 6 am then when we got there the staff stated that they called us informing us that it was changed to 9. I never relieved a call and niether did the 5 other people who were scdualed. Very poor quality of staff and doctor.
He didn't seem to have a well laid out examination for his patients. I wasn't even examined, he just immediately stated that I needed to have a colonoscopy at age 28. He wrote me a prescription that my insurance doesn't cover and sent me on my way. I don't doubt that a colonoscopy is a good idea to have done even at my age, but to jump to that conclusion without even doing an examination is absurd to me.
