I did all the things they asked, and they still denied my referral twice. I get that things are crazy. The thing that is frustrating is they now send me something in the mail asking me for donations. You wouldn’t see me and not your asking me for money every few months. Come on do better. Very unprofessional.
Unfriendly and overburdened I couldn’t even schedule An appointment because the front desk lady was too busy yelling at me over a mistake they made her colleague told me that my doctor left a note stating that a doctor in their team needs to take a look at my CT scan for a specific condition we were discussing and now when I call back to ask about those results they’re acting like a deer in headlights and yelling at me. Teaching hospital teaching young doctors to disregard any patient that is a woman of color or unfortunate enough to have public health care coverage. When I was experiencing symptoms at 17/18 with a positive ana they told me that doesn't matter, even healthy people can have a positive ana. Now 13 years later, with inflammation markers in my blood and urine and a slew of other results from my pcp including specific antibodies, they dismiss me because the ana is negative. I have been trying to get in for 3 yrs! Meanwhile my health and symptoms are getting worse and worse. This is some serious medical neglect! I've done everything they have asked. Still they keep either denying refferals to not receiving refferals. Not sure how they are getting away with this.
I wouldn't recommend this place. I like everyone else felt the visit was rushed and dismissive. Don’t go here if you value your health.
