This place is hell on earth. I was told for months I would be prescribed Methadone for my severe chronic spinal pain and then one day I get a random message after I was promised to be prescribed this medication multiple times that they won’t be prescribing the medication “for safety reasons”. I’ve tried every medication I can for my nerve pain and nothing else works and Methadone is the golden standard for severe nerve pain. I have been going here for over 30 years. That speaks for itself! The doctors here are great! I wouldn't change clinics for anything!
My one experience with a PCP here a few years ago left a lot to be desired and when I recently tried to make a new appointment they weren't taking "new patients" (I wasn't a new patient, but apparently enough time had lapsed between). The person on the phone was unnecessarily rude about it. As an ex OHSU employee I'm disappointed... Not sure why I'm surprised though, welcome to the American healthcare system.
