We use OHSU for our daughter's T1D care and their ineptitude and general lack of caring about our needs is mind-boggling. From our very first visit with the doctor who dimissed our concerns for her high blood sugars and our desire to be more aggressive with her care with "that's just how diabetes is.. there's no way that a 4 year old will not spike to over 300 every meal". This diabetes clinic is absolutely amazing! I go here for my diabetes checkups and they’re always do kind and good at what they do. My experience here has been great. This is the best diabetes clinic I’ve been to.
My endocrinologist has only missed sending in the refill once, but they resolved it the moment I brought it to light. Overall, my last 8+ years here have been smooth
I got the distinct impression that I was not worth Dr. Baghel's time. She even used the words "on your own time". Zero attempt at patient education, and completely disregarded my neurodiversity in relation to making changes to my routine. Fail.
THIS PLACE SUCKS! I have had diabetes for 13 years and i have lost my job and i have not been able to order my own medical supplies because they dont care for u to do things on ur own. And the head person of the clinic called and talked to me like a child this place is a joke and I hope the workers find better jobs. Ive ran out of supplies because i cannot get in own supplies without my dr.. cause idk my own info they put in.
