On Saturday 08/09/2025 my husband had a PET scan appointment at 1:45 check in time. Check in instructions he received were to check in at the desk. He was met at the door by a very rude male "nurse". He abruptly asked him why he was there and was told to sit over there and I will get to you when I do. After sitting for 10 minutes or so, a female came out and asked him if he was checked in and my husband told her he was told to sit and had no idea if he was checked in. Turns out he was checked in. Thank you for calling OHSU Diagnostic Imaging. All of our schedulers are still with other callers. Please continue holding for the next available scheduler." If I hear this one more time I am going to SCREAM. I have tried to get through three times this week and am beyond sick of their wasting my life with this. The least they could do is use a system that would tell us if there are one or 1,000 callers in front of us, estimating if it's going to be a wait of 5 minutes (no chance of that) or five lifetimes.
I was very happy with OHSU Diagnostic Imaging Clinic in Beaverton. I had two separate appointments. The check-in was quick. The person who checked me in was very nice. I was seen on time for both diagnostic imaging tests. Both techs were excellent. I truly appreciate OHSU and its people.
