I recently worked in the ER as a volunteer on Thursday nights from 7pm -11pm. My role consisted of checking in with the lead ER Tech or Charge Nurse; restocking the blanket warmers and IV carts; replacing the linen carts in the supply room with fresh blankets, and, or gowns, and pillowcases; Interacting with patients in the exam rooms and waiting rooms to lend support and check on their needs. Leaving one star for the two nurses that were awesome. This place is great genuinely if you’re being life flighted or brought in by ambulance. Like a real trauma. Because I’ve been treated here on a real trauma case and they saved my life. But if you’re able to drive yourself to the ER than take yourself to another one. I came in with a real problem in agony and waited 12 hours and still didn’t even get to see the doctor to get my final results.
