I have had a great experience with Ohio Guidestone. The school where my kids go recommended this service and right away they got seen and we have weekly in-home appointments setup with a therapist. There's even an option for school visits and virtual visits. We have no complaints and like our therapist very much. I can't say how the office runs because we've never gone there.
A lady from here called me to do a phone assessment for disability and it took over an hour to do. My boyfriend helped with answering the questions. I waited about a week to hear from them and they never called me so when I called them, the lady on the phone said they don't even do disability there. She said it's counseling and therapy only. So why did I have over an hour long phone assessment from these guys? Was it a scam to get my personal information??? This place is a joke.
We had multiple intake appts, including some that never called. We were told counselors would come to my child’s school and never did. And after a year we were told to look somewhere else b/c they had limited people that would come out due to my insurance. Wasted precious time and energy. Very disappointed.
There is a really great provider here named Carlton and I wanted my child to be seen with him but they lost the records 3 times. I went to appointments where nobody showed, and finally someone from the county IT department called and said that my phone appointment would be cancelled and they were working on it and would call me back. Never got a call back it's been about 3 months. Went somewhere else instead
This place in an unprofessional JOKE. Especially dealing with children. They are very unorganized, unprofessional. Find somewhere else to take your children if that's an option. Don't understand how some in the field of dealing with children can be so awful. Find somewhere else.
