Would be ZERO if possible. They use a separate billing agency from Deaconess/MyChart who cannot provide you ANY info about WHAT or WHY you're being billed. Calling OVP directly results in speaking to someone IN the actual testing facility that has ZERO information about your account. They send a TEXT message randomly asking for money with NO account number or "services rendered" info included, wanting you to give them money. I'm a disabled veteran that had surgery paid for by the VA. Instead of trying to get their money from the VA, they have a collection agency harassing me for payment that I don't owe.
Just received a text saying that Ohio Valley Pathologists, PC: As a friendly reminder, you have an outstanding bill of $18.28 from DEACONESS GATEWAY HOSPITAL. *FOR WHAT?!**. I've not been there....
If you want me to pay a bill, send me the bill! I don’t pay bills over text.
Never got a bill in the mail, not even sure what its for. Now receiving mail from a debt collector saying please respond by march 30th, and was mailed out april 26th.
