We’ve actually used Ohio Property Inspection Services, Inc. (OPIS) twice- once for our own inspection when buying our current home, and again (unintentionally) when the buyers of our house hired them for their inspection. THEY CALLED THIS WINDOW BROKEN ITS PEELING PAINT! This is just one of many WRONG observations this company made. There were THREE of them and they said they couldn’t get in the attic. Couldn’t figure out how to open the door I guess? They also left ALL OF THE WATER RUNNING IN THE HOUSE FOR OVER AN HOUR! This is literally day one inspector stuff. Save your money and hire a real company.
So many missed issues with the house he “inspected “. Was recommended by realtor unfortunately.
There were 3 inspectors that looked at our 1000 sq ft home before we purchased it. They missed termite damage in the crawl space and $80k in structural damages. Would not recommend.
So far we haven't had any issues but my inspection report says that the attic could not be accessed. After closing I located the attic access in about two seconds and there is no way it was blocked or unable to be found or accessed. It is in a very clear, easy to find and access location. This is unacceptable in my opinion. Otherwise the inspection was thorough but this was a big red flag to me.
