It was wonderful.
We drove to the caverns from Fort Wayne, Indiana today and we had a fantastic time! Phil was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and great with our two young kids :) they really enjoyed the mining rough also! We'll definitely be back!
The Caverns were stunning, and the staff members were informed, articulate, and very kind! Best way to spend a hot Summer's day! Thank you so much for this amazing site's preservation!
I didn't know what to expect, since it is ohio. But it was amazing. Could not belive such an amazing place was hidden away in the middle of some fields! I thought the price was cheap, so the caves would reflect the price...NOT SO! Incredible for what you pay for. Thanks for a great afternoon with my family on a hot summer day.
The tour was interesting because of the historical aspect but afterwards I visited the gift shop and was horrified to see that they sell dead bats incased in plastic. This is absolutely disgusting and unecessary. When asked about it, the manager said that the bats are raised specifically for that purpose. Terrible.
Absolutely worth the drive to see these Caverns. Took both tours and could not believe the difference between the two sides. Price was good. Staff was friendly and professional. Recommend this to anyone who love caving like I do.
We toured Ohio caverns 35 years ago when our daughter was 5 years old. Now that we live in Ohio it was time to revisit with granddaughters 5 and 10. The cave tour is worth a visit. Some beautiful formations and excellent guides. The group was not rushed through the tour to get it over with so we had time to enjoy the views. If it is your first cave, you will want to explore more. Oh and the grand daughters loved it. Great picnic area and playground afterwards too.
It was an amazing expierence. Hands down. Our tour guide was amazing and my 5 year old daughter loved it!!! I definitely recommend going if you haven't yet.
Awesome. So much to see. Have been to many caverns. This one had more beautiful crystal formations than any I've seen.
