Go to Hi Lites, ask for Betsy I totally recommend Betsy for both your hair and your make-up. She'll even come to your house to do your entire wedding party. Very convenient location.
brow waxing ann marie is great, i have had my brows done there a couple times but my aunt and cousin have been going there for years, she definatly does the best work!
HIGH rating for Hilites Salon If there were more than 5 stars, I would definately rate Hilites with the highest regard! All the stylists do a beautiful job and the owner is the sweetest woman in the world! It helps that all of the girls have great style, it shows that their style reflects on their work.
Surpassed my expectations! I had a really hard time making a decision to go to Paul Mitchell the School after reading some of the reviews on here. My appointment was made for 2 oâclock today. I filled out the paperwork that just basically stated that I couldnât sue if someone screwed my hair up. I then waited for about 10-15 minutes before I was greeted by my salon stylist in-training. I just want my money back.... 11/5/2011 - I went in with dark brown hair and was hoping to get a lighter brown color with highlights. They said it would be no problem. Long story short, I left with bright orange hair and they were closed for the next two days! I had to spend more money to get it back to the original color at a real salon than I spent for them to turn it orange in the first place...I could have done that myself for a lot less money. Dreams short lived I was a student here until they decided to 'terminate' me for not bringing in business for them. I started this school January 2013. I was thrilled to be there but that was short lived. When I asked a question the teacher would reply, 'you'll learn that later, don't worry about it right now'. After being in core and receiving 300 hours, I was put on the floor to work on real clients with very little knowledge. HORRIBLE SCHOOL I would actually put 0 stars it if would allow me. I went to this school as a student. I went on two tours with one of the owners. The owners are married and have no education in cosmetology. Do know, this was unknown going in. He really knows how to sell you on this school, they were so friendly and all the "learning leaders" as they called teachers seemed so wonderful. They sold me on the place. HMMMMMM......... I have a unique point of view here. I have a daughter currently enrolled at this school. She is doing very well... but I feel that from what I am hearing that the people who run this school, there was alot of "misleading" information given priior to her enrolling. She was told that she would be able to participate in outside functions where she would gain valuable experience that she could add to her resume and now the State Board has come in and said that this activity is ILLEGAL!!! Love this salon! On my first visit to Paul Mitchell I received an excellent haircut and color. Paul Michell's school offers a variety of services including cuts, colors, perms and manicures all for a fraction of the price that you would pay at a salon. The students are supervised by experienced instructions who consult and check students work frequently to ensure that quality work is being performed.
