Why is the airport code ORD? The airport was originally built on land known as ORcharD Place. Thus the airport code is ORD. ORD was built during the war as a production site for military aircraft.
Pick an airline and stick with it. Perks like priority access are priceless if you travel a lot.
Leave plenty of time to get from either concourse E or F to concourse B or C. You can only get a shuttle from E2A to gate C6
Power outlet haven at the new Starbucks by L1. Plan B is a Virgin America gate.
Outlets are hard to find at ORD. However I just discovered (with the help of an AA employee) that there are a bunch of black chairs with outlets in between the H and K terminals. Near duty free shop.
