I miss the dentist taking care of the patient instead of assistants. If all dental offices have started doing this then the rate of pay should be closely aligned to the person performing the work. I took a great deal of time choosing the dentist I wanted and am very unhappy to only see her for seconds and then to be handed off to the assistant. If all dental practices are leaning this way it is very unfortunate for the patient.
