What a great experience our family had with Ohana Surf Project. We booked the 2hr family lesson. The kids were 10 and 12. Our kids are confident swimmers and this session fit us perfectly. We also picked up the picture package and it was soooooo worth it. The staff were amazing right from the start and the 4 of us all had an amazing session. Absolutely fantastic surf lesson experience with Luke and Marco. Strongly recommend the family lesson options to pair your family members more closely with instructors than the group class. Both Luke and Marco gave customized instructions to help each of us get more comfortable and adaptable with each run. Fantastic experience. Mark provided expert instruction, paid close attention to my basic movements and quickly identified beginner mistakes I was making and corrected them. He had me up on the board quickly. I learned a ton and had a lot of fun. I am 60 and he taught me how to surf: he will teach you too and it will be great!

Awesome experience having out first surfing lesson at Waikiki with Ohana Surf Project. In the group session we attended, the kids and I were all standing up on our first wave. The team at the shop, and out in the surf ensured we had a good (and successful) time. The spot where they do the lessons (down near the Barefoot Beach Cafe) is a little quieter than in front of the hotels... which meant no worries about bumping into others (or others bumping into you).

Trying to catch up on my reviews. Ohana Surf Project made my first time surfing so fun and comfortable. I felt very safe and well taken care of. My fears of surfing vanished working with them! I went for my birthday last year and they made sure I had a blast. I ended up going twice. I highly recommend, they are very kind and friendly. They took some really cool pictures & videos of me too ☺️
