I went to Ohana's to celebrate my birthday last night. We got reservations but had to wait a bit because a member of our group wasn't there, and then we had a little extra wait for an available chef. This wait wasn't too bad though; we got drinks and waited at the bar and everyone was pretty friendly. The food and "show" was good; I left stuffed. Would enjoy going back with a large group again.
Hands down the best meal I've ever had in Des Moines!!! Scallops were beyond amazing!!!
Went there last night to eat after an amazing massage at China reflexology. We were sat at the table with a young couple and their two small sons. The young mother is a fourth grade schoolteacher in Des Moines. It's always a great time when you can have young kids at the table because they really get a kick out of the chef.
