Our experience with Ohana Hunt Military Housing has been extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, professionalism, accountability, and empathy toward military families is unacceptable. We arrived on the island on June 21, 2026, and immediately tried to secure housing. Due to limited appointments, we could not be seen until July 13. The folks running the front office are empathetic and the maintenance staff, except pest control, are timely with service requests. But moving out for a PCS? Service members be warned, if you have circumstances that preclude you from notifying them short of 28 days, they’re the judge of that. The community will not hesitate to both notify you late of any issues and create additional hurdles for you while taking your full BAH upon moving out.
