Ohana Kava Bar on North Academy is probably my favorite location, and a big part of that is how close it is to home. The convenience is great, but what really makes this spot stand out are the community events—especially the parking lot gatherings. I was a little nervous to try Kava for the first time, but Carli took care of me! She made me feel very comfortable and made sure I was taken care of!! Highly recommend Ohana!!

I’ve been a regular at both locations for over a year and usually love the vibe. The curly-haired bartender at N. Academy is always friendly and gets my order right. However, service noticeably drops when a different bartender is working—often cold, dismissive, and more focused on chatting with friends than helping customers. It’s a consistent pattern that makes me consider taking my business elsewhere. Management should address the inconsistency in customer service.

Had a great time for the first time the other night and will be back again soon! The atmosphere is perfect. The people are super friendly l. The options were great.
