RecommendedI have not been there yet. I have heard great things about this husband and wife team. they have treated pets so correctly that have wrongly been treated in the past.
Dr. Steffes and all of the staff are one of the few and far between businesses that truly care about their patients and their owners. As a chinchilla owner, it is very hard to find quality care with knowledgable doctors and techs. In the past, we even lost one of our babies to mistreatment by an over confident, undereducated doctor. I was struggling with knowing it was time to find a new vet, especially for my older chi mix that has developed a heart condition and needs dental work. Dr. Steffes was incredible and spent time learning about my special boy, doing a full exam and answering all my questions. He was kind and the staff was amazing as well. I can see why so many of my friends recommended Ohana. I will be bringing all my pets here from now on!

I brought my old man kitty Dexter in and they were so incredibly nice, welcoming, thorough and very gentle with him. He had an ingrown nail and even though I felt horrible about it, they didn’t treat me like a bad pet parent. We will definitely be bringing him back for all his needs. I’m also excited to know they treat tortoises, in case we ever need to bring ours in! Thanks so much Ohana and Dr. Hacker! �
Ohana was recommended to us by Sage and going to see them for our hamster was the best decision. The staff is superb and Dr. Steffes is knowledgeable, friendly, and wonderful working with us.
Brought my sulcata Celester in yesterday for his first wellness checkup. Dr. Steffes was wonderful and got down on the floor with Celester and spent a long time chatting about him and checking him all over. You can really tell that he cares for the animals he treats! Looking forward to spending the rest of my life with this tortoise (and so are my kids and grandkids and possibly great grandkids!), now that I know we have an exceptional vet to watch after his health! :-)
