I took my Layla in last Monday to have a dental. I confess I priced shopped because I believe the prices that most vets around here charge are criminal for a routine dental cleaning. In Layla's case, the quotes around town were up to $650!!!!!!!! How do they sleep!? It's no wonder I see so many puppies in my grooming studio with overdo tartar buildup. I just want to thank the Oglethorpe Animal Clinic for years of dedicated care and service to mine and my family's animals. I have received a card in the mail everytime we've lost a family pet, but today I received one for Sprocket, who we had to put down June 12th. Sprocket suffered what could only be described as a stroke, making her suffer, completely blind, and partially paralyzed. It being a Sunday, our only option was the emergency vet in Athens. We love Dr. Rowan and the staff here. We have been taking our dogs to Oglethorpe Animal Clinic for over ten years. They make an effort to keep veterinary care affordable and accessible. The vets have done various surgeries on our dogs over the years (tumor removal, ACL repair, neutering) and we have had great results and follow up care. We started taking our pets here just because of the proximity to home, but have been really pleased with their care (including ability to walk in without an appointment). Thank you!
Excellent vet and staff are great! Just recently moved to the area after having the same vet for 14 years and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked him right off the bat.
I truly love the staff and everything they've done for my dogs!
Been going here for 12 years now. The people are just terrific and have seen me through good times and bad. Dr Ed, Ellen, Kathy and Pat really care! Highly recommend this wonderful place.
