The Oggi’s franchise was originated by two brothers, George and John Hadjis, who began serving up their own pizzeria experience in August of 1991. After more than 20 combined years working in the technology industry, George and John opened their first restaurant in Del Mar, California as a franchisee of an existing local pizza chain. If there's one thing that I hate, it's this growing trend in the USA to have drink menus with no prices on them. Oggi's is an especially bad offender particularly as it is a brew pub. I believe I will start explicitly asking the price of every drink and beer of the waiter to make a nuisance of myself and make a point. The house brews vary between $5 and $7 during happy hour. Great pizza and RANCH. Pizza was good. Really good! But you must like garlic! They use a combo of both raw and roasted garlic to create a very nice flavor profile. Service was spot on. And oh my goodness the house made ranch dressing is amazing. As in... AMAZING. I would come here to eat pizza crusts if I could dip them in the house ranch. Thinking they maybe have a deal with a local garlic rancher!
Over-hyped and bland. Had the garlic knots (terrible marinara sauce) and the Lightning pizza (too much dough, not much taste). Service was slow. Save your time and money - go someplace else.
Great place for food and sports.. I recommend Oggi's Pizza and Brewing Company because they have great pizza and food, watching sports on their 42 HDTV's. I had the garden salad with their famous Garlic Knot Bread (I recommend it), then I had the Oggi's Works Pizza. Everything was delicious. If you are in Southern California, go to Oggi's for lunch or dinner and to watch sports, too. Thank you so much.
Excellent Food, and Service to Match!!! We had the Bocce Ball Pizza along with the Garlic Knots.. Both were terrific!!!
