Best food in St Paul! Best servers! Best owners!
30 min wait for mediocre nachos that cost $14 (not during dinner rush), extensive beer list, out of most everything, slow in attentive service (had to ask for silverware and napkin), didn't seem the same for others that appeared to be regulars. Cool building This is a coors light bar for regulars. They're busy so apparently don't need new customers. Luckily they're are plenty of other options in the area.
Wondered alone into O'Gara's without knowing it was their 75th Anniversary ... Sat at the bar and asked for dinner ... Found out the special was a $2.50 corned beef boiled dinner with all the fixings and a green shamrock dinner roll! Best food around!! Great staff and wonderful atmosphere - will be returning for live music on Thursday! ❤️❤️❤️
Food: 4 stars Drinks: 4 stars Service: 1 star We came in expecting the great O'Gara's experience we're familiar with. Unfortunately what we got was "the special." The waitress we had was more interested in flirting with a table of very loud, drunk bros than keeping tabs open or drinks filled. Really disappointed, knowing O'Gara's tradition for good food and service. It's disappointing knowing the best we can hope for in the future is lowered expectations.
I was looking for a good place to grab dinner. (At the airport ) The menu was small and the beer had a sttange taste to it. Not a lot of options on the menu. But listening to one of the bartenders and another staff member argue was very un professional....... heard the f bomb a couple times
It's really expensive for the quality of food you get. Service is always mediocre.
Service is great! Pat Daddy (bartender) is very attentive. All bar staff is awesome! Great selections of beers. Shamrock Shuttle is awesome for Vike's and other games. One of my favorite stops. All and all, they can't be too bad if you've been in business since 1941.
