I called Phil about a month ago about upgrading the brake system on my 4Runner as I already had bigger calipers for my tires but my master cylinder wasn't able to push enough fluid for solid brakes, went down to talk with Phil and bounced some ideas around on what I wanted, got a good list of parts I needed and made an appointment to come back and get it all put together. Called in for a quote on a body mount chop. Spoke with Phil for a good 20mins about what I was hoping to gain clearance wise from a BMC. Body Mount Relocation was ultimately chosen as a better option for clearing the tire size I had in mind. Will definitely be back in the future.
I found Phil through an overlanding Facebook group and I'm really happy I did! For someone who wants to modify their vehicle while also getting hands-on and learning, his service offering is perfect. He was great to work with, start to finish. From transparent pricing, good product advice and recommendations, to a fun shop experience, I'm completely satisfied and look forward to working with him again on the next phase of my 4Runner build.
I recommend Phil and OTO every chance I get. He has done amazing work on my 95 Tacoma and helped my vision come true. He is very open, honest, knowledgable, caring and treats every car like its his own. Just recently he did a lighting overhaul on my truck with new LED headlights, LP6's, Baja Design Fog Light and 8 rock lights. It came out amazing and it lights up the night riding like its day time!
Had a really great experience! Needed to get suspension work done on my truck, and Phil was super communicative and patient with my million questions. We were on a tight timeline since we were only in town for a few days and he accommodated our schedule and got everything done before we had to head out. Totally worth the 5 hour drive down from up north. Will be back again for future upgrades! :)
