Horrible is right! They keep telling me that they are going to find me a job. HA!!!!!! Over two years now and not one phone call. Oh yes, you are right you talk to a different person every single week. Not the same person (which is a bunch of bologna) but a different person. I agree that Office Team's listings seem to be fake. Also, they always list a salary range for each position. Oddly, whenever I ask what exactly the rate is, it is ALWAYS the lowest rate listed. Been trying with them for 2 years and like others, I don't get called back or the job is "already taken" within minutes of appearing on the website. Completely agree with Lorenzo123! Just wasted my job-searching time on them. Nothing, not a single update, despite posting online openings daily for positions I've been looking for. The only thing that is not clear is how are they making money after all?!
Office Team equals crappy service! – I signed up with Office Team last summer and I still have not received an assignment. There's a recruiter named Rufus Harris, he's an @$$ wipe. He frantically harass me for my references, which I admit I wrote down the last two numbers wrong, but leaving a message with an attitude is so unprofessional. I mean he called like a bill collector. I think they are a first rate company – Although I have only worked with the downtown office of Accountemps, I think they are a great company to work for. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I worked on and off with them from 2005-2009. They worked with my schedule, assigned me to appropriate jobs and I even got a week's paid vacation one year!
Agree w/ "Horrible!" – I agree 100% w/ "Horrible!" - Office Team has done the same exact thing to me. They made me take a 2 hour test, then told me that there weren't any job opportunities for me that fit my qualifications. Then every time I called back, they'd want to transfer me to someone else. Then that person wouldn't be available, so I'd have to leave them a VM. Then, no one would call me back. What a waste of time, energy, & money for parking. Do yourself a favor & don't try this temp. agency.
Accountemps Sucks – I've worked for Accountemps before. One thing to know about them, is that apparently most of the jobs that they post online are FAKE job ads, intended to increase their labor pool. That's why Accountemps's job ads online are always very generic, never giving details about a particular company where the job supposedly came from. Also, Accountemps employees often have lied to me. Office Team a Farce – I have high qualifications and pass the tests for MSOffice Suite over the national average. I am clean, I am professional with years of experience. I called them, jumped through every time consuming hoop and guess what? I was called for a 2 hour job. Not even kidding. Thinking I would do this stupid job and prove to them I was committed to working, I never ever got a call for a real position.
