Made a purchase this morning in the Viera store. My bill was $6.42 and I charged it on my Visa card as a credit. I just learned form my bank that Office Depot is holding $25.68 against my visa for my $6.42 purchase. I went back to the store and spoke to the store manager and he couldn't help me and told me to call Office Depot's customer service 800# which I did. The nice lady in the South America couldn't help me. Unbelievable!!!
I have purchased merchandise before in this store. It has variety and it's been good before. The reason why today my rating is poor ( I hate to do that) is based on a very deceiving experience with a young salesperson. I went there with the full intent to buy a desk chair. Some of them were in special price. As I was trying to decide which one to buy, a young man came in and said that the special was over " as of now " and pulled the tickets from the chairs. The ladies in print department are super awesome always...just picked up two brand-new posters I had made same day and they did a phenomenal job as always!!!
Dan the manager was very helpful yesterday. I needed 2 primary comp notebooks for my daughter's school list. The store was out; however he placed an order for me and they were delivered today for the same sale price and free shipping! Way to go! Thanks for the great service.
