He is the best there is he really cares about the health of your eyes and keeping them healthy
I have had a complex visual problem complicated by retinal tears, a macular hole, and major idiosyncratic medication issues that has taken almost two full years to resolve, and Dr. Oei has brought me through this troubled path with recovery of normal vision. This is a superior result under major adversity.
My surgery was done with perfection. His staff is very helpful and kind. I highly recommend Dr.Oei for eye care. I thank God that I can see again and for Dr.Oei
Dr Oei performed a vitrectomy in December of 2021 after monitoring my condition for progression over a few months. The surgery was very successful and I have enjoyed excellent results. Dr Oei and his staff have been kind, patient and thorough at every point of my experience. I am very grateful that his services have been available to me.
It all started last February when a simple eye surgery miserably failed and I was immediately referred to Dr. Oei. Dr. Oei was very compassionate, caring, and reassuring, to say nothing of how highly skilled he is. He performed two surgeries installing a new lens and cleaning up other problems with my left eye. I became Dr. Thomas Oei's patient nearly 20 years ago, shortly after he joined Dr. Sheldon Braverman in San Antonio. I see him now almost exclusively at his office in Kerrville. He has treated my eye problems, including macular degeneration in my left eye. My sight in that eye has slowly improved, I think, because of his diligence in keeping up with the latest technology as it has become available over the years. The equipment in his office is of the highest quality.
My Mom suffered from a retinal occlusion condition earlier this year and Dr. Thomas Oei has been treating her to recovery, all with patience and kindness. Under his care, Mom recovered from the serious inflammation on her left eye. And after a successful cataract surgery by Dr. Oei recently, Mom's vision has improved significantly. Dr Oei is highly skilled and I trust him completely. He is one of the best doctors I know.
