So this was one of my favorite Irish restaurants. AMAZING place, but then they did a bunch of renovations and now I don’t even know what to call this. Bring back the old O’Dowds and I’ll be there at least once a week! But until then I would not recommend
My food wasn’t cooked correctly and the service was poor. Our waiter hardly came over and every time I would look for him he was at the hostess station talking. We sat with no drinks for most of the meal. He didn’t come over until he saw me get up to come get him. Unfortunate since it was our first time we went out in quite a while. The man who seemed like he was the manager seemed like he had no interest in being there as well.
Me and my husband actually went in there thinking it was a different place. As we sat down, we were not sure what to expect. We ordered a boxty with crispy pork and the fennel. The plates were visually pleasing and when we tried our first bite it was DELICIOUS!! Cooked to perfection! Every bite was so yummy! Every flavor went together wonderfully!
