Exceptional at teaching behavior management strategies. Dr. Vining is very kind to the children and showed us how to begin shaping behavior without yelling or threatening.

Great experience at Dr. Vining's office (The Psychology Clinic). We are warmly greeted, our sessions start on time, and he is extremely patient with children and in answering parents' questions. Collaborative goals are established and frequently monitored. If you are looking for behavioral options over medication, this option is certainly worth considering.
Friendly staff greeted us upon arrival. The appointment started on time, and Dr. Vining had already read our file. We spoke about our child's concerns, and he listened intently. Then, he started small talk with our daughter. As she began to relax, he asked when she last cut herself. What was he talking about; our daughter doesn't cut herself. A great behavioral psychologist
Dr. Vining has a deep understanding of the brain and behavior, but is able to put it in words that others can more easily grasp. He is very good at connecting with people, the lead psychologist at The Psychology Clinic, and our first call if our child needs help again.
The Psychology Clinic has helped us tremendously. We PCSed from Fort Bragg and needed a child therapist for our boys. The staff was professional and friendly, we were seen at our designated time, and Dr. Vining was incredible with the kids. Not only did their behavior improve, but he taught us how to better work with ADHD and defiance. The change is our home is welcome.
Good location. Great staff. Fantastic psychologist. Dr. Vining teaches how to change behaviors without medication.
