I went to Oculoplastics Associates of Texas with high hopes, seeking help for my eye asymmetry. Sadly, my experience was incredibly disheartening. I saw two different doctors, and both made me feel as if my concerns were unfounded. Instead of support, I felt gaslit, with one even saying they didn’t see any difference at all. I just called in to get self pay information for my family member in Texas and had the nicest person answer the phone. I run an Oculoplastic clinic in Colorado Springs and she was very professional and helpful. I'm not sure what her name was but I called and spoke with other places in the Dallas area and they were not so nice. I am now at ease with my family going to this practice and will refer there in the future.
Excellent results, Dr. James Merritt is an incredible surgeon. I was so nervous and he was calm, confident and reassuring, oh and he shared some great horse ranch stories too. The results are flawless, even better than I hoped for. I procrastinated over this surgery for years and I honestly could not be happier with the results.
