I chose him as my PCP when he first started at Rush and he was pretty good and responsive at the time. He quickly became hard to reach and overwhelemed as Rush dumped all their patients on him. I needed someimaging done recently and could not afford the luxury of waiting for an available appointment but instead of working with me he displayed no evidence that he had any concern for my concerns. If one could describe the “perfect” Primary Care Physician, it would be Dr. Vega.
Dr. Vega is very thorough and he cares about his patients! His bedside manner is great!
