My wife and I were en route from Chicago to East Lansing and wanted dinner, but couldn't face McDonalds or the like. Thanks to Yelp, we found the Octave Grill. Even tho' it was already 9:15 pm, they couldn't have been nicer. Served us a great dinner - started with a delicious Hunter's Stew and mixed salad with a very fresh citrus vinaigrette, followed by perch cakes with a full/caper tartar sauce, and finished with ginger cookies, an Oreo cookie brownie and homemade ice cream. Had an amazing dinner last night! The Smoked Hoosier sandwich was to die for! Wish I could have bought an entire jar of the coriander pickles. Can't wait to go back!
Visited did the first time and the food was delicious! Definitely a culinary artist in the kitchen. Will be back.
