Stay Away from Octane Marine – Major Gear Failure Due to Improper Installation I had my entire Bravo outdrive lower and upper gears replaced by Octane Marine in May 2024. After less than 20 hours of use, my upper gears are completely destroyed. That level of catastrophic wear should not occur with new components unless there was a serious issue during installation. Great experience. Great people ! Slade and Steve in Service took great care of me. Fit me in and got me out. Charlie was great too, met me in the driveway at drop off and very responsive. Jeff in sales is great too, he has me really thinking about a new Navan. Nice to have performance boat people right here at home. PS Barry was great too! Everyone I came across there is friendly, knowledgeable, and appreciated me as a customer.
I have been bringing my boats to Charlie @ Octane before it was Octane. Charlie fixed boats from his house, the waiting was long but well worth the wait! Today, Charlie has an AMAZING facility.
